With more than 30 years’ experience in adventure travel, passionate Francophile Catherine is a fun-loving, sun-seeking shopaholic whose colourful vices include red wine, blue cheese and anything pink and/or sparkly!
Catherine’s career was marked from an early age when she told her primary school teacher that she intended to “write travel brochures” when she grew up. Fast forward through a Modern Languages degree, a season as a Campsite Courier (in the days when people actually wanted tents), various Operations and Marketing roles, multi take-overs and restructures, and Catherine took over as Managing Director of specialist Cycling & Walking Tour Operator, Headwater.
A natural leader, with infectious energy, Catherine is now devoting her time to doing what she enjoys best – promoting her love of the “real” France and the Med (food and wine, the great outdoors, art history, fashion and design) to anyone who will listen.
Chloe has over 13 years’ PR experience, starting her career at top 20 global agency Porter Novelli. She moved in-house to TUI Group in 2011, spending five years as PR Manager for Thomson, First Choice, Thomson Airways and Thomson Cruises focusing on generating coverage for the brands in the travel pages and beyond. She also has extensive experience in crisis communications, with developing the appropriate messaging for challenging situations a speciality of hers.
Chloe loves to travel. Over the years her backpack has been retired and she now seeks out the comfort of a hotel rather than an overnight bus journey, but her love of seeing new places and experiencing different cultures remains.
Never one to turn down an adventure, Rosie has been lucky enough to scuba dive with giant Manta Rays in Bali, ski through thigh-deep powder in Canada and hike to Everest Base Camp in Nepal.
After more than four years working on the Ski Club of Great Britain’s magazines – as deputy editor of Ski+board and founder and editor of Elevation – she moved into the world of travel PR and has spent several years making her journalistic nose work wonders for adventure brands, ski resorts, self-catering companies and guided-tour specialists.
Tim began his decade long career in travel at the Daily Mail and Mail on Sunday where he looked after a portfolio of leading airlines, destinations and tour operators. He then turned his head to PR and marketing, working firstly for the UK office of Dubai Tourism and then for a leading London agency, specialising in international tourist board and luxury hotel representation. Tim has long had the travel bug, which for many years he combined with his passion for playing music – performing at venues and festivals throughout the world. Today he loves nothing more than exploring new destinations with his young family.
French-born, Marion has called the United States, Canada and the UK home. She has an MBA in international marketing and has worked for more than a decade helping global travel brands navigate the world of content marketing. At Family Traveller she headed a digital strategy to introduce new products into the magazine and at the Evening Standard, she created bespoke solutions with an emphasis on experiential campaigns. She has expertise across all channels, including social media (from Podcasts to Instagram), allowing her to advise on the most effective strategies for her clients. Having fallen in love with Italy’s cuisine, coffee and snow-perfect mountains during the three years she spent living in Bologna, Emma’s combined her biggest passions since returning to London and introducing a high-octane dimension to the Heaven team.
With eight years’ experience turning innovative event ideas into reality and negotiating far-reaching partnership deals between her travel, ski and food brands and the likes of Sony Pictures, Land Rover and Urban Outfitters, clients can count on her pop-up creations to convert into column-inch grabbing occasions.
Another travel veteran and Alpine enthusiast, Sharon brings 25 years of operational, hospitality and marketing expertise across the leisure industry to the team.
Having worked her way up the slopes from tour guide to managing large ski resorts for major UK operators, she soon found her organisational and training skills in demand by the big-name sponsors of global sporting events such as the Olympic Games in Torino, Beijing, Vancouver and London 2012 as well as high-profile music festivals.
All of which makes Sharon perfectly placed to help create memorable events, from journalist trips and industry gatherings to press conferences and client training sessions.
Our very own Eddie ‘the eagle-eyed’ Andrews could be described as the organisational and strategic backbone to Heaven Publicity.
