Team Heaven

Lynsey Devon, Founder & Chief Executive

Lynsey

With 25 years’ experience representing tourism and lifestyle businesses around the world, Lynsey is one of the UK’s best known and most respected names in travel PR.  Having spent two decades establishing Hotelplan as a leader in the luxury ski, city breaks and villa fields, she set up Heaven Publicity in 2012 after overseeing PR for TUI Travel PLC’s Specialist Activity Sector and its acclaimed stable of 104 companies.

There are few travel-related areas that haven’t benefitted from Lynsey’s invaluable expertise already. What’s more, she’s as comfortable promoting charity events and retail brands as she is pushing hospitality and tourism-related companies – a skill that ensures the Heaven team is equally confident securing print, digital and broadcast coverage outside the traditional travel pages as well as within them. Plus, she is consistently asked to share her vast knowledge with others, and is a regular on the judging panel at the World Snow Awards, presented by the – now discontinued – Telegraph Ski & Snowboard Magazine; further proving her talents and expertise as ‘Snow Queen’.

With her exuberant personality, unrivalled black book of media, blogger and celebrity influencers and passion for new experiences, Lynsey’s hands-on approach could be exactly what you need to inject energy into your business.

Catherine Crone, Non Executive Director

Cath Crone

With more than 30 years’ experience in adventure travel, passionate Francophile Catherine is a fun-loving, sun-seeking shopaholic whose colourful vices include red wine, blue cheese and anything pink and/or sparkly!

Catherine’s career was marked from an early age when she told her primary school teacher that she intended to “write travel brochures” when she grew up. Fast forward through a Modern Languages degree, a season as a Campsite Courier (in the days when people actually wanted tents), various Operations and Marketing roles, multi take-overs and restructures, and Catherine took over as Managing Director of specialist cycling & walking tour operator, Headwater.

A natural leader, with infectious energy, Catherine is now devoting her time to doing what she enjoys best – promoting her love of the “real” France and the Med (food and wine, the great outdoors, art history, fashion and design) to anyone who will listen.

Rosie Barcroft, Senior Account Director

Rosie Barcroft

Never one to turn down an adventure, Rosie has been lucky enough to scuba dive with giant Manta Rays in Bali, ski through thigh-deep powder in Canada and hike to Everest Base Camp in Nepal.

After more than four years working on the Ski Club of Great Britain’s magazines – as deputy editor of Ski+board and founder and editor of Elevation – she moved into the world of travel PR and has spent several years making her journalistic nose work wonders for adventure brands, ski resorts, self-catering companies and guided-tour specialists.

Emma Berg, Senior Account Executive

Emma Berg

As a recently graduated language student, Emma has always had a passion for travel, adventure and the great unknown. She has had the opportunity to work in a number of different countries including France, Spain, and Brazil, which  has enabled her to pick up a range of skills and languages that she is keen to put to use. Having recently completed an internship at a vegan PR company, Emma is eager to experience more of the PR world, whilst combining this with her love for travel and skiing, by working at Heaven Publicity.

Rachel Johnston, Junior Account Executive

Rachel JohnstonWith a vision of pursuing a media-centric career from an early age, Rachel relocated to Leeds to complete a degree in journalism. After graduation, she gained a year’s experience in marketing and another year in PR. When working at her first PR agency, Rachel had the opportunity to experience the mountain lifestyle, travelling to and from the French Alps as a resort representative for groups from around the world.

Working in PR full-time – with occasional trips to different ski resorts – got her thinking about incorporating skiing into her everyday life, leading Rachel to discover a seamless fusion of her passions here at Heaven Publicity.

She’ll be the first (and last) at après, and will never say no to a spicy margarita… or fondue.

Emma Bebb, Marketing and Events

rsz_1emma_website___Having fallen in love with Italy’s cuisine, coffee and snow-perfect mountains during the three years she spent living in Bologna, Emma’s combined her biggest passions since returning to London and introducing a high-octane dimension to the Heaven team.

Three decades later, Louise is as passionate as ever about bringing travel brands to life through creative marketing and has delivered award-winning campaigns – not only for Crystal but also the Hotelplan family of brands and Balkan Holidays.

Highlights include lifting the first ever Travel Weekly Globe award for Inghams, and managing seven Ski Tests for the Telegraph in Kühtai, Tirol. Louise has recently spent two years working in the world of wellness and she is training for her first 10k race (on a vineyard!).

Edward Andrews, Strategist

EdwardOur very own Eddie ‘the eagle-eyed’ Andrews could be described as the organisational and strategic backbone to Heaven Publicity. So, whilst the team have their heads facing upwards in constant pursuit of the perfect story angle, impactful event or timely trend, Edward’s eyes are always firmly pointed downwards to deliver clients the all-important results.

With 17 years working for a prestigious merchant bank, a regular presenter for the Chartered Institute of Marketing and with countless financial articles under his belt, Edward rounds up all of the team’s coverage, making sure that clients receive their articles and reports in a timely and eye-catching manner.

Arthur, Newshound

ArthurLike his owner Lynsey, Arthur has a remarkable ability to sniff out a story wherever he is. He has a passion for the great outdoors, a natural curiosity about the world around him, and a relentless energy for everything he does. His dogged determination means he can be counted on to launch himself into every new project very enthusiastically. He lives with his younger brother, Charlie (below), and together they make sure Lynsey and her family never have a dull moment

Charlie

CharlieA massive fan of the great outdoors, Charlie (Arthur’s younger brother) is a very happy-go-lucky boy. Described as ‘excitable, affectionate and playful’, he loves being around people, especially his owner, Lynsey, and is always willing to please. When summer swings around, Charlie spends his time kayaking and paddling with his family on the Thames.

Gent

GentHaving spent three years in kennels after being rescued, Gent is now living his best life with Rosie, who definitely spoils him. Gent enjoys trying new food (whether it be cheese or chicken), walks (with lots of snuffling) and sleeping (and snoring). He’s getting used to Rosie’s work schedule and tries not to disturb her too much during important meetings. While out on walks, he loves to do a spot of networking with his human and canine friends.
