Stay at the brand new Chalet Soleil d’Or this winter with AliKats Mountain Holidays.

AliKats Mountain Holidays has added a brand-new chalet, and a brand-new concept, to its impressive portfolio in Morzine, France.

Meaning ‘golden sun’, Chalet Soleil d’Or (sleeping eight) is being built specifically for AliKats Mountain Holidays and will open in December 2019, ready for the up-coming winter. The chalet is also showcasing the company’s new semi-catered concept.

Designed to combine AliKats’ award-winning food with maximum flexibility, the semi-catered offering comprises first-class accommodation with welcome drink and nibbles, five evenings of delicious two-course dinners carefully-prepared by Kat Judge (co-founder of AliKats Mountain Holidays) and her expert team and delivered straight to the fridge, 10 bottles of fine wine (five red and five white) and afternoon tea (with cake) on three days.

All these treats mean guests can kick back, relax, and make the most of the beautiful Chalet Soleil d’Or. Nestled a few minutes’ walk from the restaurants, bars and shops of the delightful village of Montriond, and just 50 metres from the bus stop, which takes skiers and snowboarders straight to a choice of two lifts – Ardent (for access to Avoriaz, Chatel and Switzerland) and Pleney (for access to Morzine and Les Gets) – the chalet is in a superb location.

Built from natural wood and stone from the local area, guests can expect incredible views through the large windows, which create a light, spacious feel inside. The chalet has four bedrooms (each with an en-suite bathroom) named after each season, a fantastic open-plan living space with a sociable kitchen and dining area, plus a TV and games area. And, after an exhilarating day on the slopes, guests can retire to the private hot tub on the terrace with a well-deserved drink.

AliKats Mountain Holidays’ dedicated team is on hand to help organise morning bakery deliveries, discounted bottles of Champagne and more mouth-watering cakes if wanted. Additionally, the knowledgeable staff can help with lift passes, ski hire, beauty treatments and massages; making the holiday even more memorable and hassle free.

A week’s stay at Chalet Soleil d’Or, from 15 December 2019, costs from £372.25 pp (£2,978 total) for eight people sharing and includes welcome drink and nibbles, five evenings of two-course meals, 10 bottles of good-quality wine, afternoon tea (with cake) on three days, use of the hot tub and committed service from the AliKats’ team.
