It’s Puking with Snow in Western Canada! While snow conditions in much of the USA are causing headaches for resort operators, Western Canadian resorts have been seeing booming business thanks to heavy and regular snowfall all winter to date.

La Nina has been really good since Christmas, and at Whistler they have received over 181 cm of snow since Christmas Eve! More snow is forecasted in the next week.

Elsewhere in BC, Kicking Horse Resort and Fernie Alpine Resort received over 70cm of snow over the Christmas week and continued snowfall is expected for the next week as more storms track in from the Pacific Ocean during this epic La Niña weather cycle. Snow is piling up this ski season with over 13 feet of total snowfall at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort and over 9 feet at Fernie Alpine Resort!
