Our favourite ways of getting down a mountain…

Here at Heaven, you may have gathered that we LOVE to ski. But unfortunately that’s just not an option all year round! Come summertime, we’re on the hunt to find other fun ways of throwing ourselves down a mountainside. Come rain or shine, whether you’re on wheels or wings, there’s a whole multitude of ways to get your adrenaline fix in the Alps. So here’s our top three ways from getting from top to bottom and right back up again…

On yer’ bike

Whichever you choose, biking is one of the ultimate replacements for skis we’ve found so far. People flock in their thousands to the Alps each year just for the biking and once you’ve experienced the mountains on two wheels it’s easy to see why!

Fly away

So forget about the height and leave all your troubles behind and JUMP!

It’s a classic, but hiking is one of the best ways to get up close and personal with nature up on the hills – with nothing but your feet propelling you forwards you can go anywhere you want to, at your pace. This is where you become one with the hills, and where no one will judge you for breaking out into song, Sound of Music style.
