NEW: The “Wibit Park: A New Concept In Inflatable Water Fun
Christened “Wibit park des Gets”, the Ecoles Lake and activity area are launching a new giant inflatable creating a water play area which includes slides, a water trampoline and even a human catapult. This new innovation in inflatable water play, offers unlimited fun in both swimming pools and lakes and is suitable for everyone. Open every day from 23 June to 27 August 2017 (ages six years and above).

NEW: A Mountain Bike Chrono Park
For those wanting to time themselves over a downhill mountain bike course, a timing system will be installed on one of the Bike park descents. It will register the descent time, analyse speed variations and compare them with those of the World Champion Loïc Bruni, a Les Gets Ambassador.

NEW: Get Fit Solo – Self-Service Fitness Workshops
Holidaymakers can get fit in Les Gets this summer with a new open-air gym featuring a cross trainer, rowing machine, cross-country ski simulator and abdominal boards, all while enjoying the stunning natural surroundings of the Ecoles Lake. Parents can get well deserved me-time while kids can paddle and play in the nearby water slides watched over by qualified life-guards.

Restoration of Historic Merry-Go-Round
The oldest merry-go-round in France has been fully resorted to its former glory and will re-open this summer in the Place de la Maison des Gets. It will be presented to the public as a “Museum Piece” and this rare monument to Fairground Art will come back to life in the village centre, giving holidaymakers the opportunity to enjoy the iconic 145 year old merry-go-round once again.

New: 100 Skies – Relaxation Event
Open to adults, children and families, the 100 Skies wellness event is the perfect chance for holidaymakers to disconnect, unwind and take time for themselves. Hosted by Barbara (Yoga teacher) and Catherine Wagner (Energy therapist) there will be group workshops from 19 – 23 July 2017 with a choice of individual à la carte treatments lasting from 45 minutes to 2 hours in length or longer. A variety of techniques includes yoga, Pilates and fit ballet to stretch and strengthen the body. Auto-hypnosis will also be available along with other less-known practices such as wutao, qi-gong, Toltec agreements and tactile workshops using clay. The courses will be held either inside or outside in beautiful natural locations including the Ecoles Lake, Mont Chéry opposite Mont Blanc or at the Ferme de la Sarre.

Les Gets Vintage Golf Cup
On Sunday 13 August 2017 Les Gets will go back in time by celebrating the elegant and glamorous golfing attire of bygone times with its Vintage Golf Club. In the sumptuous natural surroundings of the Les Gets 18-hole golf course, various activities will take place throughout the day including; a stock exchange, a drive and putting competition using old wooden clubs, a traditional barber and an old-fashioned photographer. A music-hall style evening with accordion music will bring this special day to a close and give participants the opportunity to sample delicious local produce.
