Get set for the 2021 / 2022 ski season with Pierre & Vacances

Europe’s leading operator of self-catering holidays, Pierre and Vacances, is getting ready to welcome back visitors to the slopes this winter, with the launch of an early booking discount, across its French Alpine and Pyrenean portfolio of nearly 70 properties in more than 30 different mountain resorts. As the benefits of the vaccine programmes at home and abroad start to take effect, we can look ahead to better times, and that means planning that first big ski trip, reconnecting with loved ones, and making the most of the great outdoors.

With a wide choice of hotels and residences available to suit every budget, and a range of rooms and apartments that can sleep between two and 12 people, Pierre & Vacances guests can travel in comfort and style. By booking early, holidaymakers can secure their first choice of residence, the dates they want, and a discount of up to 20%. The promotional offer applies to stays of four nights or more, on booking made by 29 September 2021, for travel between 4 November 2021 and 7 January 2022; and on bookings made by 3 November 2021, for travel between 8 January 2022 and 8 April 2022. Furthermore, an additional discount of up to 5% is available on stays of 11 nights or more during the period.

Ahead of the new ski season, the Pierre & Vacances team has been working hard to ensure guests have a safe and enjoyable stay, with special Covid-19 practices at all locations. The Pierre & Vacances Safety+ Charter includes the provision of hand-sanitiser for staff and customers, increased cleaning and disinfecting processes, and the updating of hotel ventilation systems. All properties have onsite staff, to provide guests with any assistance that they need and to ensure that they have a great holiday. And with fully equipped apartments and hotel rooms that feature fully fitted kitchens, there is no need to worry about social distancing when it comes to eating and socialising.

In these uncertain times, travellers can book their ski holiday with peace mind thanks to the Pierre & Vacances Flexible Rate option. It entitles guests to a full refund on their entire stay when they cancel up to 30 days in advance of their trip for any reason. And should Covid-19 restrictions force a cancellation, holidaymakers will have the option to change the date of their stay or opt for 100% of their money back. What’s more, holidaymakers can secure their booking with a deposit of just €1, with the final balance due just a few days before travel.

Workcations: For many the pandemic has meant remote working, with some of us continuing to do so for the foreseeable future. This is giving employees the option to work wherever they please, with Pierre & Vacances self-catering apartments making the ideal option for those wanting to base themselves in the mountains for long periods. With the availability of fast 4G internet dongles and up to 10% off meals delivered to apartments, it is easy to create a home away from home-office with Pierre & Vacances. For this reason, a dedicated Pierre & Vacances promotion for remote workers will be launched this autumn, with the full details to be unveiled imminently.

Extras: Pierre & Vacances offers a number of optional extras across its mountain holidays, with the ability to book winter sports equipment and ski passes online at a discounted rate. Customers can collect their ski passes at reception on arrival and equipment can be picked up quickly and easily either onsite or at a nearby store.
