Come and recharge your batteries in Verbier/Val de Bagnes – La Tzoumaz

In the heart of the Alps, where the peaks of the Combins and Mont Blanc mountain ranges proudly reach for the sky, lies a majestic region that encompasses the Val de Bagnes and La Tzoumaz, an authentic natural paradise with breathtaking landscapes. While Verbier remains the capital of off-piste skiing, the ski area proposes hundreds of kilometres of runs and an especially diversified offer for fans of back country skiing or snow shoeing, cross country skiing or bob sledding …

The Verbier/4 Vallées region is located between 1500 and 3300 m above sea level, so snow is guaranteed from November to April! Plenty of snow cannons on the main ski runs provide back-up for natural snow if required. With its 410 km of ski runs and giant snowpark at La Chaux, the 4 Vallées is a true winter sport paradise!

Experts and novices are sure to find what they are looking for, from ski itineraries to runs for all levels.

Over and above sports activities, the region invites visitors to discover its rich heritage. The villages of the Val de Bagne, filled with history, have retained the old-world charm of constructions from yesteryear. Take the time to explore their lanes for a stroll somewhere between past and present.

Hôtel A Lârze –  Le Châble’s new hotel

Located at Villette (Le Châble), Hôtel A Lârze is a charming venue offering ten rooms (with TV, wireless internet, private bathroom and safe). Designed by craftsmen from the surrounding area and built from noble materials (mainly larch wood whence comes its name in local dialect), this establishment’s key distinguishing features are its  authenticity and the fact that it will offer breakfasts consisting of local regional produce (milk, butter, cheese, yoghurts, etc.).

An additional asset is the sanarium that offers athletes (and the less athletic) a relaxing moment after a day spent on the runs or exploring hiking or mountain bike trails.

The hotel’s location five minutes from the station and the ski lifts represents another advantage in that it enables fans of skiing and adventure to enjoy the Verbier / 4 Vallées ski area  to the full.

And finally, this is a great alternative for more modest budgets, with very competitively priced rooms and rates that vary depending on the season (from CHF 120 in the low season / and from CHF 160 in high season).
