The Grenoble Isère airport is managed by VINCI Airport on behalf of the Isère Departmental Council. Thanks to its strategic location the airport offers a gateway to the Alpine ski resorts. In 2015, 303,203 passengers passed through the airport terminal for commercial and private flights. There are 19 direct scheduled services to Europe as well as ski charter flights operated by more than 30 Tour operators mainly British, Scandinavian and Russian.
