As the 2019/2020 winter season approaches, several well-located hotels have unveiled renovation news and details of new guest promotions, further strengthening Megève’s excellent accommodation offering, which caters to a wide range of tastes and budgets.

A landmark hotel in the village centre for 120 years, Megève’s hotel Soleil d’Or has just undergone a major renovation to all its rooms and public spaces. Recently acquired by the Millésime Group, the property will reopen to holidaymakers on 6 December 2019, and will become the 11thhotel in the company’s portfolio. The elegant property, which has achieved a five-star status, has 16 bedrooms and three high-end chalets with four bedrooms each. Megève’s iconic Les Fermes de Marie is celebrating its 30thbirthday. Opened in 1989 and situated on the outskirts of the village, the hotel is a stunning five-star property formed of nine beautiful chalets, that have been converted from farmhouses dating back hundreds of years. The hotel is set in five acres of picturesque grounds and features two superb restaurants, an opulent bar and a high-end spa with an indoor pool and 17 treatment rooms. Ideal for both small and large groups, there are plenty of spacious accommodation options to choose from as well the excellent on-site kids club, Hameau des Enfants. To celebrate the anniversary, the much-loved property is teaming up with 30 leading French lifestyle brands, which will see fashion, beauty and cuisine products on offer to guests. The full details of the promotion will be revealed in the coming weeks, but it has already been announced that well-known companies including IZIPIZI, Paul & Joe, Manucurist, Modetrotter and Staub will be involved.
