Les Villages Nature® Paris introduces frighteningly fun activities for Halloween

2018 sees Les Villages Nature® Paris celebrating Halloween for the first time since its opening with new activities dedicated to the special occasion; from traditional favourites such as pumpkin carving and Trick or Treat, to exciting new workshops.

Three new culinary options will come to Les Villages Nature® Paris in time for October half term, with the arrival of a food truck serving tasty burgers, a new ‘Discovery Menu’ at one of the on-site cafés and the option to have food delivered to apartments.

Autumn sees the resort’s extensive green spaces take on their seasonal, auburn colours and, as nature is at the heart of Les Villages Nature® Paris, the destination makes for an idyllic location to welcome in the cooler weather and autumnal colours. The striking landscape makes the end of summer seem decidedly more palatable.

Guests can still get out in the fresh air over the autumn period on a bike ride around the park and the tranquil waters of the lake. Visitors looking to be fully immersed in the park’s natural surroundings can test themselves on a tree-top adventure course and take children on pony rides. The resort has a number of wet-weather options too such as the Escape Games, the Aqualagon – a water park heated using the energy from the earth’s core, complete with slides, a climbing wall and fitness classes – and other culinary and horticultural workshops.

New activities for Halloween

At the end of October, kids will become wolves, witches, ghosts and ghouls with face-painting sessions on offer for little ones looking to dress up for the spooky story time. Those wishing to learn how to bake their own ‘night of the living bread’ can do so at the BelleVie Farm and creativity will be put to the test in a pumpkin-carving workshop. ‘Trick or Treat’-ers in fancy dress will visit the restaurants in search of sweets and there’ll even be a competition for the best disguise, so make sure Mum and Dad have packed a costume! A walk through the bewitched garden trails promises to be an exciting affair with vampires, monsters and witches waiting to surprise guests. The party will then continue at the Halloween ball at the onsite bowling alley.
Families feeling adventurous can take an ethereal trip into the enchanted Forest of Legends, which lends itself to ghost stories and Halloween games. Guests who take part in the popular ‘build your own hut’ workshop will be able to decorate their creations with twine and cob webs to ward off evil spirits.
Les Villages Nature® Paris’ emphasis on being environmentally friendly is incorporated into its Halloween festivities. The deathly decorations that line the streets will be made using recycled materials, in keeping with the resort’s drive for sustainable practice, and guests can learn how to make one of their own at the design workshops. The geothermically-heated Aqualagon waterpark will host a Halloween-themed pool party, making for a truly one-of-a-kind event.
After all the excitement of looking after little monsters, the Deep Nature® spa offers parents a chance to relax. Massages and other packages are available to guests of all ages, even babies, and spa-users can take some time out in the sauna, hammam and salt room. Exclusive to the autumn period, the spa is offering pumpkin-inspired treatments. Composed of 90% water, pumpkins are excellent ingredients for skin toners and contain vitamins A, C and E, which are all essential in maintaining healthy skin. Adults will leave the spa looking and feeling great.

New catering options
Les Villages Nature® Paris offers self-catered accommodation, with restaurants and cafés available on site serving everything from crêpes and delicate patisseries to pizza and Mediterranean salads. October sees the arrival of new culinary options at Les Villages Nature® Paris. MIAM, a burger food truck, will offer quick, tasty burgers  – prepared by the chefs at Cépages Wine Bar & Restaurant – which can be enjoyed al fresco on MIAM’s terrace or taken away to be enjoyed in guests’ accommodation. PUR etc, an alternative coffee shop and restaurant, has introduced a Discovery Menu where guests can try delicious, healthy meals cooked and prepared on site using fresh, local produce. Guests looking to enjoy a meal in the comfort of the home-from-home atmosphere of their apartments can now order meals to their door using a third-party food delivery service. A Halloween-themed buffet will also be available for witches and vampires celebrating the event; BONE-appétit!

A four-night self-catered stay, from 22 to 26 October 2018, costs from £1049 (reduced from £1175, saving 10%) based on four people sharing a Clan Comfort cottage.

A three-night stay from 12 to 14 October 2018 costs from £530 total (reduced from £616, saving 14%) based on four people sharing a Clan Comfort cottage.
