Flying Start for winter 2017 – 2018 with VIP SKI

NEW: VIP SKI connecting to 13 regional airports in the UK

VIP SKI is introducing additional regional flying for the 2017/18 winter season. The luxury chalet company will retain its core flying programme with seats available from London Gatwick to the Alps with British Airways. As well as flights from Heathrow and Manchester.

To complement the programme, VIP SKI will package holidays with scheduled flights from Belfast, Birmingham, Bournemouth, Bristol, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Luton, Leeds Bradford, Liverpool, Newcastle, Southend and Stansted airports. These flights are provided by a multitude of airlines including the convenience of Jet2 and EasyJet.

The decision to add regional flights stems from the demand for more accessible routes to resort, and demonstrates VIP’s commitment to meeting its guests’ needs and creating a more diverse and flexible package. When fuss-free travel to the resort is achieved the outcome is a more enjoyable holiday for the whole family. The start of the trip can reflect the way the rest of the trip will pan out.

VIP SKI endeavours to find flight times that are both convenient to the guest, and that coincide with the company’s chartered flights, in order that guests can travel to resort by VIP SKI coach transfer. For guests arriving at a different time, VIP SKI will arrange public, shared or private, transfer at a supplement.

These new options makes a VIP SKI holiday to the Alps more accessible for skiers not living close to London Gatwick, London Heathrow or Manchester. It takes the pressure off those wishing to fly locally, who would previously have been making their own travel arrangements to resort.

Here are some options for regional flying:

Chalet Le Manoir, Alp d’Huez, France
Ski-in ski-out, Chalet Le Manoir is convenient, accessible to the pistes on both sides. Its solid timber floors, chic en-suites, and hi-tec entertainment, all at an altitude of 2000m, brands it the height of sophistication. The dedicated family chalet sleeps 12 and accepts room by room bookings with children and infants welcome on all dates.

A seven-night stay is priced from £1019 pp (based on two sharing) and includes return flights from Gatwick to Grenoble, coach transfers, accommodation, catered chalet board (of cooked breakfast, afternoon tea, three course evening meal on six nights followed by cheese board and coffee and mints), house wine, and complimentary toiletries. Hotel Montjola, St Anton, Austria
Nestled in the centre of picture-postcard St Anton, just above the two main lifts, sits Hotel Montjola. The renowned party strip is five minutes’ walk from the hotel, so guests have the benefit of being close enough to the buzz but far enough for a quiet night in a picturesque wooded area.  The hotel offers an agreeable blend of décor exuding authentic Austrian charm together with the modern comforts of flat screen TVs, sound docks and a hot tub. VIP SKI offers a shuttle service to and from the pistes between 8am and 8pm for those exerting themselves on the mountain all day.
